Our Story

Fred Steensma developed the Simply Selling System, following a frustrating start in corporate sales. During his sales career, he regularly attended sales training seminars and sessions, some of the sales course Fred attended are well known international programs.

However, any increase he experienced in sales success was temporary. He always returned to sales mediocrity. He began to notice that the sales training he received was just theory. In fact so much theory, Fred considers he could have been a professor in sales.

Gradually through his own experiences, he pieced bits and pieces together and created his own sales process. He quickly excelled in sales and moved into sales management.  Others soon sort his sales expertise and this led to Fred formalising and sharing his Simply Selling System.

As Fred shared his sales process, he saw that there were many others who were struggling in this industry, and so decided it was time to share his system and help fellow sales professionals by creating Simply Selling.

Business Group (Australasia).   Fred leads the Simply Selling Team, directing continued systems and company development.   Fred’s passion is firmly focused towards the delivery, training, coaching and mentoring, Sales knowledge transfer and the development of emerging and developing Sales Professional from all walks-of-life and industries!   Fred brings more than 30 years of experience in the Sales industry, client relationship management, and leadership roles.

As a Sales Mentor, Fred is well experienced in coaching sales teams to success.    Account relationship management and new business development are areas where Fred excel’s.   His sales success is simple; providing high levels of customer service has ensured customer retention and new customer acquisition.
